Yep, I was a big fan when it went into syndication--I couldn't get ABC when the series was on. Basehart was a good actor too, and I was sorry when he died. I liked Bob Dowdell, too, and even had a soft spot for Chief Sharkey and Kowalski. David Hedison was on a soap for awhile. He had two daughters, Alexandra (who I think was involved with Ellen for awhile) and the younger girl's name started with an "S"-- Serena, maybe? But yeah-- David was a real doll. I really liked the two episodes with the ghost of the sub commander-- remember those?
I hear that the series is out on DVD now. I'll have to save my money.

Yes - I had a model of the Seaview and the flying sub!
Some of the plots were really daft, though, you have to admit!
