don't need to do that. if you want, you can take them off the old and keep them with your registration though you should already have proof of that with your papers. if questioned by authrities show them your papers including the windsheild ones and they will generally understand. unless you are a person who disrespects them in anyway then it will take alot more than proper papers to get you out of that mess. When the vehicle is due for inspection again, they will put new stickers on your new windshield

Most windshield repair places will give you the sticker, or remnants of it, but only if you ask for it. It won't stick anymore, so you'll have to get another inspection anyway. The little certificate that the station gives you will let the police know you had a valid one if you are stopped, so always keep that!

I think a broken windshield requires a new inspection. I don't know about registration stickers---we don't have those on the windshield in PA.

particular definately!! they'll use a warm air gun, the only they use to loosen window tint. That way they might loosen the Inspection and registration stickers. And maximum places do a sturdy interest..and a few do no longer....SO in case you notice the sticker dangling. Ask for like a receipt

Coincidentally enough, I just had it done yesterday. They replaced my registration, inspection, and oil reminder/mileage sticker as if they were brand new.
