not because shes a woman but do you realize one of the first things she would do is pull all the troops out which would show that the U.S.A cant follow through with our plans which would send terrorists the wrong messege.

I think Hillary would be a wonderful president.

If you claim that pulling out our troops "would show that the U.S.A cant follow through with our plans", you imply that we had a plan when we went into Iraq in the first place, which we obviously didn't.

Did you forget 'mission accomplished'? I didn't... bring them home. The guy who started this war, the one with the 'intelligence' has stated that our mission is accomplished, so what's the problem? Oh, and I don't think ANYBODY will be horrible after what we have seen in the last 6 years....unless we got Cheney or something. That being said, I would vote for Guliani over Hillary. I would vote for Hillary over McCain. I would vote for Obama before HIllary. So as you can see, it depends on who is running...since I am an independent.

I'm definately voting for Hillary. She is the most qualified of all of the candidates....Republican or Democrat. She has an awesome resume and education to back it up. She's served as a US Senator and yes, she made the wrong decision to send our troops to Iraq...but so did every other Representative and Senator in Congress at the time (except Kennedy). So....let's get our boys home from Iraq. The terrorists aren't there anyway...they're in Afghanistan...and let's stop this senseless war (Oh, except for our oil interests). George and Dick have made a killing in the oil markets for the past 7 years. They'll be just fine in retirement.

I am of the opinion that Hillary Clinton, or any other carbon-based life form, would be a vast improvement over the complete fool we have occupying the White House now.

BTW, Finnegan, very well put.

Yes, but not for the reason you cite. First, pulling the troops out is the right course of action, and second, terrorists aren't paying attention to where our troops are (you still don't get that, do you?).

No, she's wrong for a lot of other reasons.

I hope she is our next President. She is smart (Thats why republicans don't like her)
We have not WON a war since WW2 unless you count Grenada:)
How can anybody like G Bush for any reason? If you young Republicans stop listening to the bible pounders, the world will be a better place.

I just can't bring myself to believe that she has the least bit of interest or concern in anything except herself and her power. Read Dick Morris's books about her and her husband, and I guarantee you will never want to see her again, let alone ever vote for her.

I truly cannot think of a worse choice. Anyone who questions her motives for wanting to be president need look no further than her willingness to look the other way multiple times for Bill's indescrections....lose Bill, lose the position, and lose the power that comes with it. She is a socialist who believe that she and the other Democrats are smarter than the rest of us, and that they are the only things that can save us from ourselves....

Doesn't anyone else see how fatuous this question is, especially in light of who has held the office for the past 7+ years? Who, other the Warren G. Harding, could be a worse president? The bar has been dropped so low, it seems we should be trawling the 700 Club for candidates.

Uh...the majority of Americans want out of Iraq. Why do conservatives always think that they speak for all Americans? I agree that withdrawal would be a mistake, but we have to have a change of course in Iraq. Hillary, Obama, Edwards...don't really care, as long as it ain't Bush.
