True Love Finds you, dont go looking for it. just look for what you think you like (traits) in a guy and keep your eyes on that type of guy. Rate them in importance to you 1. tall, 2. Brown Hair, 3. Nice Butt etc....... and make a mental checklist. Then while you begin the dating process, start finding out things about them that you are curious about (family, pets, colors,,, some commonalities) without asking questions. When Its serious enough then ask the big questions. Marriage, kids, bla bla bla....
Lust is what you look for until you are tired of looking for a hookup!

I was working f/t, no time to meet and date someone. I had just split up with my husband of 15 years, all "our" friends were married, so I had no single girlfriends to hangout with and do the "single thing".....
Also, money was tight, so I placed a free ad under "women looking for men" on Craigs list in my area.....
I also started reading the "men looking for women" ads, and happened upon one I thought was interesting...I answered it.
Almost the same day, a nice guy answered my ad....and I started chatting online with the guy that answered my ad, and the ad that I'd answered....
Ok, long story....long...lol.....turns out, they were the same guy....we had lunch (he drove an hour there and back to have a 30 minute lunch with me)....and we hit it off....
We've been together three years....have a wonderful new baby girl, and a very, very happy!

We were both playing bowling, but I in a team of beginners. We did not meet then. One day the club had a party in a night-club and I went here on my own. He asked me for a dance, a paso doble, Spanish dance. Suddenly we realized it was a contest as couples were eliminated one after the other. We won !!!
We have never separated since and got married six months afterwards. It was 31 years ago;
Good luck !

We actually met in college. She was a student in and I was a senior lab assistant. We were friends for a long time and both realized that we felt something more. We started dating 6 years later and married a year after that. We celebrated our 20th anniversary in December 2006.

We met on American Singles. com!!! It doesn't always work for everyone, but it worked for us. If going that route, be very careful & go slowly & don't tell your whole life history or give out senstive information until you feel comfortable. When the two of you decide to meet in person, do it in public for a while, before you take him to your apartment or home.

I worked in house at a temp agency as their receptionist. He worked through the agency. My boss delivered paychecks to the jobsites every Friday and they were wondering why my husband said he would rather go pick it up. Turns out, he wanted to come into the office every Friday so he could see me. After getting pressured by his boss, he asked me out and we've been together ever since.
