bluetooth is wireless technology built into the phone that connects the phone to other bluetooth things, i.e. bluetooth headsets and other bluetooth phones for transferring files

infrared is the same purpose as bluetooth, but can not be used with headsets, and must be line of sight, nothing can be in between the two phones infrared beam and they must point at each other.

edge is a wireless technology for getting on the internet through your phoens web browser.
