That all depends on your preferred genre of game.
There are thousands of good free games on the internet. But are you looking for online or single player?
Maybe RPG, shooter, FPS, RTS, strategy, etc?
There are too many to mention, but if you go on yahoo and do a search for "free online game" you can trim down the results from there and add more criteria based on what you're looking for.
Such as "RPG dragon PVP" etc.

There are two that I know.
The first is Runescape.
The next is Puzzle PIrates.
They both are free, but can be helped by use of real world money.
