well in my opinion they are now treated like royalty!!! I am not a predjudice person, i come from a mixed family, i'm sure i will get a lot of negative remarks for this answer. anyway, back in the day blacks were unable to do many many things such as drink from certain water fountains or swim in certain pools. Now days they get special treatment like...they have their own freaking channel...BET what if we had WET??? Or they have special scholarships so on and so forth. you can all hate me but I think it's ridiculous, I think that we are all equal, and should be treated equal. No special tv channels, scholarships or anything!!! We shouldn't have to fill out opur race on any type of application such as for college or welfare. Yeah they were treated horribly long ago, being slaves and all, but it's not our fault, we cannot help what our ancestors did.

Whereas before, many were treated like criminals, now we bow and scrape to them to make up for it, and that's sad, given that we are supposedly equal, but that's not what most groups who claim to speak for minorities want. They want revenge.
