Can a person go to jail for murder if they were sleepwalking?

I just had a crazy dream, that i went to sleep in my dream and had a dream about going to this party and this guy i know was drunk and kept groping me and trying to rape me and i ended up beating him up really bad, like reeeally bad, and i left, then i woke up (still in my dream) and i was happy that it wasnt real, then i saw my door was open and i had hair/blood on my hands. it turned out i ended up sleepwalking and breating him up for real, and it turned out he died. They finally started getting suspicious of me, and i finally woke up for real. Anyways this got me thinking if a person was really sleepwalking while they beat up or even killed someone, can they be charged?
