I noticed this on several Qs. A really bad or naughty answer gets a lot of thumbs down, then when I scroll back through the answers, that answer disappeared. Yahoo PoPos again?

not necessarily , on the celeb Q's , they get so many observations that the can get like 345 thumbs up and 286 thumbs down on ther first ten answers or so and they dont get deleted. Somebody , reported that answer plain and simple .

I don't think it gets deleted on "thumbs down". I think it only gets deleted if someone reports it. Would be a good idea that so many thumbs-down can delete an answer, though. A lot of ignorant stuff gets put on here.

I completely disagree. there are various human beings on Y!A who thumb-down an answer because of the fact they disagree with it, or because of the fact they think of they are humorous, or because of the fact they thumb-down all people. i'm no longer to blame for human beings's evaluations. My solutions are continually well mannered and informative and yet you will see somebody who has thumbed-down each answer yet their own. till you've standards for the thumb device to fulfill, deleting on the inspiration of that's a undesirable theory.
