The guys I took it to said it needs the entire assembly, and quoted me a price of $750 from the dealer. I am sure I can find one cheaper than that. I just don't know where to start.

Go auto zone I got one for my 93 grand prix and it cost me 82 dollars. Also don't go to a junk yard beacuse they will charge you a new part price for a 14 year old part.

Call local junk yards. They take off working pieces and sell them when people scrap their vehicles.

You could also try your local vocational school or training center if you dont mind having trainees do the work.
