I LOST MY LOVER,WHOM I LOVED FOR 6 YRS,BY MY OWN MISTAKE FOR NOT CONTACTING FOR 6 MONTHS,BUT I NEVER THOUGHT OF CHEATING HER,NOW I AM NOT ABLE TO THINK A LIFE WITHOUT HER.SHE HATES ME TOO.I DONT KNOW HOW LIFE WILL GO WEN SHE HAS GONE .MY FUTURE,CAREER,WHOLE LIFE IS BLANK NOW,ATLEAST A SMALL YES FROM HER SIDE IS NOT THERE.NOW SHE IS WITH HER PARENTS.HER ENGAGEMENT IS OVER.STILL I M NOT ABLE TO REALISE,THAT IM GOING TO LOOSE HER.I KNOW SHE LOVES ME A LOT,BUT BCOZ OF HER PARENTS THIS IS HAPPENING.IF THE MARRIAGE IS CANCELLED I M SURE THAT I WILL GET HER,BUT SHE IS NOT TELLING A SMALL YA FOR THAT.THAT MAKES ME AFRAID.MY FUTURE IS BLANK PLEASE GUIDE ME.MY AGE IS 22,HER IS 21,I HVE GOT A GOOD JOB ALSO.PLEASE TELL ME.

You make an impassioned speech in your question, but you didn't contact her for six months?? Something's not right. If you had no contact with her for six months, then you've moved on. Do it again.

Well there is really nothing you can do. You are still very young and there is soo much that you need to accomplish still. Do not let this run your life. I know it feels like the world has ended but in due time you will feel better. I suggest expressing yourself through writing. Maybe you can write her letters, and poems; of course do not give them to her but it helps vent. Take this as an opportunity to grow within. Why did you not talk to her for 6 months? Maybe this will allow you to sort that cloud up too. Just try to be productive because the worst thing you can do is shut yourself out from the world and your responsibilities. Staying active will take you mind off the situation and make you feel better. Good luck!

Okay...you lost your girlfriend because you didn't contact her for 6 months. Now you realize that you cannot live without her, but she is engaged to someone else. You are sure that she will come back to you if she does not go through with the wedding.

Hmmm...well, the only thing I can tell you is that you did not contact her for 6 months, and that pretty much tells the girl you are not interested. She is not going to waste anymore time waiting for you. AND...now that she is engaged to someone else, you have come back into her life. (of course, if I have the story correct, which it's very hard to understand).

And..just because you have a good job, does not ensure you to get any girl you want.

If she really loves you, then she will come back to you. You need to be honest with her. Tell her you love her, and your life is not complete without her. Then you need to let her know that you screwed up, and understand that she has moved on, and you support her 100%. You had your chance and blew it, and as long as she is happy, you are too. AND MEAN IT!!!!!!! She may decide that you are the one for her, and she may not. You have to be prepared that she may not pick you. And if that is the case, it is time for you to move on!

Alot of people loose potentially perfect relationships by taking them for granted. If you didn't contact her for 6 months, there had to be a reason. At any rate, think of it like this, if you could go 6 months without contact with her, life will go on even longer than that. You're young. Sounds like you were the problem, not her parents, unless I missed something, but if her family doesn't like you, move on, because there will never be peace in the family and it will tear you apart....trust me I found that out the hard way.

If you really love her like you say you do, dont give up. If you know thats where your heart is. Then you have to see is it really the parents or her? Have you sat down and talk to her? Because it takes TWO to have a relationship, so communicate with her and go from there, Don't be selfish, remember its about the two of you not just you.
