I just want to connect to a writeable blank page and then print this page I know how to print but having problems getting the page (new user or have you guessed)

Click on "Start", then "Programs" and "Microsoft Word or Works". If you do not have those programs, then click on "Start", then "Programs", then "Accessories", then "WordPad".

You really should use a Word Processor package such as Microsoft Works or Word. Simplest blank page is via Start, All Programs, Accessories, NotePad

Try opening Notepad.
Start/Programs/Accessories/Notepad.
Is that the sort of thing you're looking for?
