as the places that are now available for live music acts are clearly not meeting the need as they are often as not a small pub with inadequate space as well as facilities for the bands to set up, so instead of having a wide choice of music to listen to , there is more often than not too many restrictions placed on up and coming bands as they are forced to play in an area with noise restrictions, as well as a ban on late night music,

It's all to do with people's right to complain I think. If you buy a house near to a pub then tough luck on the noise as far as I'm concerned. What did they expect? But the council always take what seems like the easier route and pander to the complainers by putting restrictions on the small venues like pubs and clubs making it impossible to have bands on there.

It's a damn shame.

Band's are demanding too much money. One of my favorite place's and really only place close to me to see a band closed down, because of the money bands wanted to play there. I haven't' seen a good show since April of last year, because I don't have time to travel 2.5 to 3 hours to see a show.
