Yes, he was married twice. First to Vivian Burey, Second wife Cecilia Suyat.

Yes he had two sons. (names are at the end of this post)

Just before graduation, he married his first wife, Vivian "Buster" Burey. Their twenty-five year marriage ended with her death from cancer in 1955.

He married his second wife, Cecilia Suyat in 1955. Justice Marshall died on January 24, 1993. He was survived by two children.

One son was named Thurgood Jr., previously a lawyer on the staff of the senate committee, is currently the legislative affairs coordinator for the office of the vice president.

Second Son John is a member of the Virginia state police.
