I don't think anyone should own or carry a gun, knife or weapon of any kind, in my opinion it is inhumane and immoral. What you have to ask people that do want to own or carry a weapon of some kind is why do you want to carry it and could you see yourself using it?

When neither the Politician, the policeman or the criminal knows whois carring a weapon, then we, the common man are free. You want to isolate the gun carrier, you must be one of the three enimies of the commoner.

Anyone caught illegally using a weapon should be subjected to 'Clockwork Orange-style' re-education and character re-ordering along the lines of what the military does in basic training. These guys don't need a course in DJing.
