Right for who?
It's right for Beckham since he'll get paid and he won't be a bench warmer at LA Galaxy.
It's right for the owners of LA Galaxy because they're going to sell more tickets and merchandise. People can't wait to buy the Beckham jersey.
It's right for Beckham's agent company since they'll take a cut from his earnings.
It's right for Capello since he's been ignoring Beckham anyway and only started letting him play because the team had several injuries.
It may not be right for some LA Galaxy players who'll get a fraction of Beckham's salary. But what can they do? They don't have the same popularity that Beckham has. But then, maybe Beckham will help them win the next MLS championship.
It's right for me because I hope to watch Beckham in LA.

The poor guy is being ignored both in England and in Real Madrid. I think he chose La Galaxy as a stepping stone towards retirement and to have a new experience in America

He proved he still has what it takes with his goal at the weekend. It's a good move for him because he is making shed loads of cash and has unlimited marketing opportunities, coupled with being a hero in LA and an icon of the US game. It's good for LA Galaxy because they get a truely world class player and it's good for US football because it raises the profile of the league meny times over.

to start of i hate him so he can go were ever the hell he wants and i love real madrid and im pissed as hell that he's back because we dont need some POP STAR on one of the worlds best soccer teams! we needed to proove that we didnt need his so called help! he's no true soccer player he's a gold digger so he can go to LA or freaken china for all i care! plus... he named his son BROOK-LYN(two girls names combined) common!!!!! this is one concided man that i can not stand and i would kick his behind to LA galaxy with all the plessure of the world! any ways capello only ignored him and uses him now as back up because roberto and others are injured!

it was primarily based on his personal relations with capello.
if he wanted to shift, he should have gone back to epl. but there the problem was that none of the big 4 wanted him while he would have considered only an offer from them.
but instead of the US he should have gone to italy if he was a true soccer lover.
but he has shown that he is money-minded - playing in the US - which is similar to the 2nd tier of england- the championship.

Its probably a good move for Beckham.

Whether its a good move for the Galaxy is yet to be seen.

Whether it's right or not...and with or without a bendable Beckham...
soccer, a.k.a. futbal, is never going to be big in the U.S.

We simply don't enjoy games that end up nil-nil.
(go ahead and give me your thumbs-down...but it's the truth)

even though its a personal matter, i would say he has done it wrong by leaving the heavily competitive european circuit for the unknown and very less competitive american league.probably the money involved and his acting dreams made him choose LA.never decide like beckham!!!!
