Before she drowned Meredith said people were fade away, picture of her mother, and she is disappearing, image of little girl on the dock.
The little girl is Meredith, the Meredith you saw on the merry go round when she was little.
In the hospital that little girl is found by her mother.
Meredith is dead.
Her mother is dying.
Meredith has so much more to say, (to her mother ).
They will have their chance to share their I love yous and their I'm sorries.
Meredith will be brought back to life to find out that it was all a dream.
Then it will be learned Ellis died.
This will allow Meredith to grow up and make decisions for herself without thinking she is doing it because of her mother being in Seattle.

I don't think so It grey's anatomy and She is Meredith Grey and if she does the show would be over!

i dont think they will she is the main start of the show. I think she will probably go into a coma till next season and we will start to follow the story lines of some of the other characters for awhile, like the budding relationship between addison and alex

no hence the name grey's anatomy. just a note though if this were real she would be dead less then 5% of people come back once they've needed to be defibrillated and if she did come back she would be severely brain damaged due to cerebral hypoxia. but that will never happen

If they kill her off, they would have to make her a ghost to follow her friends around the hospital. But, I personally think they will get rid of McSteamy or Burke. Either way, it's going to be a transition for sure.

She can't, because then they'd have to change the name of the show to McDreamy's Anatomy (oooh... not so bad) or Izzy's Anatomy. Then its not the same show and I don't think I'd watch it anymore. Unless it was McDreamy's Anatomy. Then I'd watch it on repeat!

she better not... if she does then i'm not watching the show anymore... and they better not breakup her and mcdreamy again... they just got together... let the fans be happy for a little while... maybe focus on someone elses relationship beside them... SHE CANT DIE!

no. the name of the show is Grey's anatomy. they cant kill the main character.
