Plastic or rubber boots are great to play on astro turf as u dont slide as u would with metal studs or normal flat trainers.

Definatley Not!! If you caught me on the leg with your blades on I would not be best pleased..... There are plenty of astro turf boots available.

I play with blade on turf and they are just fine. I think it really just depends on how shaggy the pitch's turf is.

yea i wud wear em coz if ya wear trainers on astro turf you'll be slip sliding all over the place.

Nasty surface to play on. Bad to watch it as well trainers/sneekers are the only thing you're allowed on astroturf i'm told.

we call them turf cleats in the us
a few dots of hot glue doesn't hurt either tends to be a bit more slippery than grass
but i warn you cover up
you fall and it will tear your skin up

Its OK to wear them if u want to break your neck!
However I would suggest that you wear moulded trainers.
