Not true at all. I was able to eat with all of mine. Just make sure that you have a full bladder. Good Luck and Congratulations on the baby:)

I have never heard that before. Unless your doctor or the ultrasound technician tells you not to, there shouldn't be any reason to not eat before having one done. With my youngest baby, I had Gestational Diabetes and had to have weekly ultrasounds the last 9 weeks of my pregnancy to monitor the baby's growth. I was never instructed not to eat before hand. Check with your doctor or the ultrasound office if you want to find out for sure. Added: With the last 9 ultrasounds, I did not have to have a full bladder before the test like I did for the first one I had done at 17 weeks.

You can eat whatever you would like, I eat all the time before mine. In the begining of your pregnancy you might want to empty you bladder depending on the ultrasound b/c a full bladder can get in the way of the view of the baby.

I have had several ultrasounds and have eaten just before most of them....eating will not affect the ultrasound. They do however suggest you have a full bladder before and ultrasound as it makes it easier to see things.

You can eat. I always did. You do have to make sure if you are early in the pregnancy that you drink the water they tell you to in order for the bladder to be full. That makes it easier to see the baby.

I was allowed to eat for all six of mine. In the beginning, before 20 weeks, your bladder has to be full.

You can eat...but you also need to fill your bladder as the sound waves bounce off teh full bladder.
