Last year at Fiesta (big festival we have every year here in San Antonio) we were sitting at a stoplight, and a hispanic dude ran up to our car and was trying to sell us cotton candy.
My BF at the time was hispanic too, and told the guy, "No thanks". The guy hollered back, "Aw, c'mon man, do it for the race!"
I said, "What did he mean by race?" and my BF said, "He meant the Mexican race" to which I replied, "Really? The Mexicans are racing? Where? Can we go watch?"
Imagine how STOOOPID I felt when he explained what it meant.....
