It probably was a culture. I apparently should have had a culture when they did my pap, but they just realized they didn't do it. I'm 19 weeks. I think it is checking for STD's.

Maybe she said consultation. That's all I had that started with a c. Consultation with the doctor, they basically ask a lot of questions about your periods, your last period, your sexual history, your family history, and about any past pregnancies, miscarriages, and/or abortions. They also do a pap smear, STD check, blood tests, another pregnancy test, weight, blood pressure, check your urine for infections, etc. and sometimes an ultrasound to confirm pregnancy.

My first prenatal visit they took a urine sample, checked my weight and BP, did a pap smear, checked my cervix, did a pelvic exam, and had me go down to the lab for my OB blood draw.

You really dont deal well with doctors, or things outside your control do you?
