Question

Give me your list of top three presidents and a list of the 3 worst presidents. I'd be especially interested in hearing from our correspondents around the world, to see how closely they match the lists from the US. Here's mine:

Overwhelmingly, we think Lincoln was our best President. He did save the Union, ya know. And a lot of his actions benefit us today, as least as much as the Founding Fathers.

1.) Washington-he could have been a monarch. if he would have been, there would be no # 2 president.
2.) FDR-got us through the depression, save all of europe from becoming a Nazi state.
3.) Lincoln-long term thinking made this nation a united one-eliminated the worry of the individual state. One national government.

3. W, for lying to the voters. Sure, Clinton did too, but 'getting a little' from an intern or two didn't cost the lives of American soldiers or innocent Iraqi citizens.

ya knwo hoover dint cause teh depression and he DID run teh humanitarian food drive durng WW1 AND he created many of the programs and ideas that FDR is commonly given credit for, and i thnk FDR is the worst, dotn forget the american concentration camps for teh japanese in 42, his fore knowledge of the attack on pearl harbor, some woudl say teh bombing of japan, the carving up of europe re the postdam confrence which caused teh cold war, i could go on and on about FDR, he got lucky he was president during americas greatest time. id give him #1 but i was in the army when Clinton was in office, and we are paying for it now, and not to mention the defilement of american prestige and the debasemetn of the office
