I just read an article on Yahoo where Mark Cuban was praising gay NBA players that come out of the closet and calling players that didn't want to be a part of homosexuality "idiots". Why is it right for one side to express their feelings but not the other?

Because homosexuality is just one fragment of who and what a person stands for and is about.
IGNORANCE, on the other hand, is a harmful componant of a person's psyche and can contaminate every aspect of someone's personality.
We are talking about 2 different things, here. But, if this country and this world are going to move forward, these harmful thinking patterns need to be extinguished.

Good question. Why are people punished for being against homosexuality?
Its our politically correct society destroying America. You cant speak how you feel anymore - if you do it might hurt someone then you are the bad guy.

Case in point:
Basketball player cut from all star game after making Anti-Gay remark:

Why should have he been cut? because he spoke his mind? Big deal, if thats how he feels shouldnt he be allowed to say so? Why should he be punished for speaking how he feels?

So what's next..you don't want to be in the same room with someone who is not white/black/brown.....or maybe you don't want to let females vote....how about not letting anyone with a handicap have access to public places?

I don't really want to be on the same planet as idiots that discriminate against people who are different from themselves in some way ....but I can see I don't have a choice.

How about live and let live, why don't you give that a try.

People who are against gays can express their opinion. Other people can disagree with them.

Case in point: Chris Matthews made jokes about gays and didn't apologize for it. He still has a job.

when we are mean and discriminatory we cross a line which violates anothers BOUNDARIES. boundrys must be respected and these gay people have a right to live free from discrimination and hate.
