Ask your friend to contact the Sunday Times. They deal with these sort of readers problems every week.
Another newspaper that offers similar help is the Daily Express.
What often works is for someone with a genuine problem to tell the insurers that unless she receives satisfaction within seven days she will contact the Press. These people do not like publicity as it encourages others who feel aggrieved to take similar action and they will settle up.

The only post office that is open on Sundays is the General Post Office (GPO) in most cities such as New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, etc. The one here in New York is open 24 days a day , 7 days a week. Also, Express mail (both dosmetic and international) deliveries are made on Sundays. I have had parcels delivered to me on Sunday morning. This is part of the cost one pays for expedited service.

total fustration with bathstore. clepington road dundee. booked them to fit a new bathroom. firstly they tried to charge me an exorbant price for wet panels. when i queried this they were reduced by £400. I WAS ASKED TO PAY FOR GOODS WHICH WAS £1,250 WHICH I DID. THEN I WAS ASKED TO PAY FOR PART INSTALLATION, £1,030.WHICH I DID. THEN BEFORE THE MEN STARTED I WAS ASKED TO SETTLE THE BILL , A BALANCE OF £3,882.71. AS I WASN'T KEEN TO DO THIS THEY SUGGESTED I TAKE OUT AN INTEREST FREE CONTRACT, WHICH I DID.. THEY TOLD ME THE INSTALLERS WHERE ASKING FOR £3,093. I KNOW FOR A FACT THIS WAS NOT TRUE, THERE BILL WAS NEARER TO £1,500 PLUS THEY RECEIVED NO MONEY UP FRONT, WHICH I HAD PAID FOR. BECAUSE I SIGNED A CONTRACT I HAD NO COMEBACK ON BEING OVERCHARGED. MY BATHROOM WAS FITTED AND I WAS PLEASED WITH THE RESULTS. THIS WAS FINISHED 11TH MARCH. I HAVE PHONED THE FINANCE COMPANY AND BATHSTORE AT LEAST 8 TIMES TO PAY MY FINAL BILL, .THE BATHSTORE HAVE NOT COMPLETED THE PAPERWORK, THEY BLAME THE STORE AND THEY BLAME THE INSTALLATION DEPT. ALL I WANT TO DO IS TO CLEAR THIS BILL AND GET ON WITH MY LIFE.
