The guy singing the song is really cute with long brown hair--no shirt--kinda skinny....it was from about.....1994 or so. The song goes something like...."you know I'd like to keep my cheeks dry today, so stay with me and I'll have it made......it's not sane....." Anyway, I have had that song on my mind all day..can't remeber who sings the song or what the name is. Can you help? Oh, by the way, someone told me the cute skinny guy that sings it died from a drug OD several years ago. Anyone know??? Thanks.

The song is called "No Rain" by Blind Melon. The lead singer's name was Shannon Hoon and he died of a drug overdose on October 21, 1995.

Im pretty sure the band's name is Blind Melon and the name of the song is No Rain. The little Bee girl was just too cute. And the lead singer's name is Shannon. He did die from an overdose. Hope this helps ease your mind a little bit.

Blind Melon, I saw them perform with Alice in Chains and Ozzy in San Antonio, Ozzy's first show back after peeing on the Alamo 10 years before, and after donating $10,000 to the Daughters of the Republic to let him back in. The lead singer died of a heroin OD. The lead singer of Alice in Chains later did the same thing. Probably a big party back stage.

Shannon Hoon is buried in Dayton, Indiana. There is a yearly gathering at his grave on his birthday. You can meet his wife and mother, and probably Nico.
