I prefered it when we honored Lincoln and Washington. The cry-baby libs couldn't stand it that none of theirs were mentioned, so they expanded it so that even FDR and Slick Willie would have to be included. Ruined the whole day. YBIC

Another day at work...I collect coins and since I was a child my Dad thought me that on this day I had to at least find one nice coin for my collection and I've done it every since, expanding my collection quite nice. He did it by picking up a coin from the ground on President's day and saying that no President should remain on the ground on this day. He made me shine that coin and I still have it. 1965D Lincoln penny. The value of his lesson worth more than any coin I have.

It means a day that the US Government chose to celebrate the birthdays of Washington and Lincoln at one time. It has nothing to do with anything.

A day to consider what has been accomplished in our country by our greatest leaders. A day to be glad of the freedoms and liberties we have. A day to be glad to be an American. Thank you.
