so i feel like im one of the nicest friend u could have..i listen to my friends , help them out , i never talk about them to other people when they are venting to me..but this is what i dont get...they will make plans with me and wanna go out but when i want to make plans with them..either ill call and leave a message or write them an email and they will be like OK lets go and then they wont call me back the same night when we made plans..or theyll lie and something up...why do these people do this when im so nice to them???? does anyone know..i was thinking about cutting them off since they dont want to make time for me ..

It sounds as if they use you when it's convenient for them. It sucks knowing you are in second place with the people that matter most to you. You can either accept it and live life as you have, you can call them on it and pose an ultimatum, or you can just ignore them and look for new friends. You deserve the best though.. so consider that when you make your choice.

lord it sounds like i wrote this ....ill tell you what...i cut them off and they didn't even know they just took there petty crap to whoever would listen and Ive never been happier they dont deserve you or the benefits that go along with knowing you your better off without them

sounds like you need new friends ... these ones don't seem to be into you ... and since you are a great friend they know they can count on you when they need you and not vice versa ... don't make a scene, just don't be available anymore to them and find people who are more like you.

maybe they are unworthy friends. Trust me, be their friends while you are looking for new friends. Sit with random people and talk about life and try to make a connection

As the old saying goes, "the more you do for people, the less they appreciate you". Stop being so available and then you will realise if they are your true friends.
