Britney didn't exactly start the "trend" of female head-shaving, many other celebrities have done it in the past too. For example, Natalie Portman shaved her head for "V for Vendetta," and pictures of her in that style were widely publicized. WAY far back, there was also, among others, Demi Moore. So, Britney hasn't started a trend, but its is possible that she will further popularize an existing "trend."

from what I have read a lot of teen age girls have already done it. What I don't understand is if she wanted to be bald why was she seen wearing a wig? I personally think she had a nervous breakdown. The tattoo artist said she said she is tired of people touching her. I wander if she was inappropriately touched or even raped I don't know just rambling I guess. I think girls will think of it as a new fashion though

absolutley not because no one else in the world is a depressed, desperate, slut like her. she ruined her reputation and is not setting a trend, just a bad example.

she didnt start it she is copying other poeple to make a headline, that girl needs help asap, doing that for attention is crying out for help. if any other celeb were to follow her then they are as bad, if not worse for copying someone whose doing it for help and attention
