There is an old saying: "Nothing ventured, nothing gained." In other words, if you ask her out and she says, "no," what would it matter? You wouldn't be any less off if you hadn't asked her. However, if you do take the risk, and she responds affirmatively, you will be all the more better off, having gained a date with her. In other words, "go for it."
