Wow, that's a tough one. Fondest? I guess when I was 8 years old I had to have stitches in my knee and was taken to the ER. My Dad was with me the whole time, letting me squeeze his hand, and having me count to ten in 5 different languages to take my mind off the pain. Then he took me out for ice cream.

When I was a kid, my Mom had a huge papa-san chair. She'd let me curl up in it with her and she'd read romance novels and I'd read my own book.

God bless them both, they both passed on 16 years ago.

I have two. On my 16th birthday, my dad got us cruise tickets to the Bahamas. Best vacation I have ever been on. The next memory was this Christmas actually. The only thing I have wanted for Chrismas was a Nintendo Wii. My mom kept looking for one and they were sold out everywhere. My mom was trying to comfort me because I was crying like a baby, I wanted one so bad. She told me that no matter how long it took, she will keep looking for a wii, and she will never give up. She really kept her promise. She finally found one about 2 weeks ago. My mom lives in Columbus and I live in LaGrange now. She actually drove to LaGrange to give me my Christmas present. It was a late Christmas present, but it was worth the wait :)

I have a lot-camping, fishing, singing. But I have to say the times my divorced parents would get together for all of our family events. Looking back, I know they didn't get a long well but we never knew that.
