I do. I think all female football fans know this rule. I guess it's just some discriminating joke that they don't.

Yes, but i doubt if you know it fully.
Heres´s a test. Which of these are offside.
1. An attacking player is standing goalside of the second to last man but in a position far from play. He neither receives the ball or gains an advantage by being there.
2. A defender is standing on the goal line whilst the goalkeeper is on the penalty spot. The only other player is an attacker who is standing between the two when he receives the ball.
3. An attacker standing behind the second to last last man receives a ball deflected to him from another defender.
4. An attacker standing level with the last defender but only his hands are ahead of the line.
There you go, and that´s easy.
Answer is !-3 are all offside. 4 isn´t but is too close to call so will obviously get the decision.

Yes but I wouldn't challenge anyone on it especially a guy as I'm a girl and only 17 yrs old. I always think maybe I don't know enough about football but I've been a fan since I was 12 yrs old.

HERE READ THIS IT MIGHT HELP !!!!
You're in a shoe shop, second in the queue for the till. Behind the shop assistant on the till is a pair of shoes which you have seen and which you must have. The female shopper in front of you has seen them also and is eyeing them with desire. Both of you have forgotten your purses. It would be rude to push in front of the first woman if you had no money to pay for the shoes. The shop assistant remains at the till waiting.
Your friend is trying on another pair of shoes at the back of the shop and sees your dilemma. She prepares to throw her purse to you. If she does so, you can catch the purse, then walk round the other shopper
and buy the shoes! At a pinch she could throw the purse ahead of the other shopper and "whilst it is in flight" you could nip around the other shopper, catch the purse and buy the shoes! BUT, you must always remember that until the purse has"actually been thrown",it would be plain wrong for you to be in front of the other shopper and you would be OFFSIDE

it is when the ball is played to a player who is infront of all the defenders receives the ball when it was played to him in that position, but you are not offside when it comes of a defender, but Giggs is 007 explained it better

I actually doubt you do know the rule in its entirety because there are so many parts to the current rule it would take to long to explain each situation.

i think your just saying you know it and acting like its obvious and testing other people just to reveal it to you because youve been a fan for so long and dont want to seem like an idiot. otherwise only an idiot would ask this question when they already know the answer.
