Im 25 weeks pregnant, I hadn't had sex for about a week and a half because my husband was out of town. On saturday night that he got back we had sex and afterwards it burned, for both of us. Yesterday we had sex again but it didnt burn as bad for me, for him it didn't burn at all. Do you think its because we hadnt had sex for a while? Or do you think I should go check it out?

There could be a few reasons.

Your PG so are more sensitive there, although you did say it burnt for him too.

It may be because you went without for a bit, but then with me it just hurts a little when it goes in after a while without, but then thats just me!

You may have just have a UTI. A lot of women get these during pregnancy. Get it checked by the Doctor as you may have to take a course of antibiotics if you have x

Your birth canal and vaginal area change shape and direction. Its pretty normal for him to feel like something is different, and for both of you to get a little sore.

We had that issue after about 30 weeks. Sex burned for me every time after that, especially the day after. Its normal. Increased blood flow, different positions, changes in the shape of your internal anatomy because of the baby... all these things add up for some discomfort.

Could be a possible yeast infection.. I would let the doctor know about it.. you both may need an antibiotic.. nothing serious it happens alot while you are pregnant. Good luck.

I always think it is worth checking these things out, just to be on the safe side.
