Kate Winslet deserves one for at least one of the 4 or 5 she's been nominated for. She's up for one again this year but she won't get it again!! (damn Helen Miren) I just feel that if Gwynth Paltrow has one after one nomination then there's a serious injustice in Kate not having one yet.

I could 2d the guy who mentioned American historic previous X. That action picture is flat out, optimal action picture. that is greater valuable by ability of a techniques than alot of action pictures that have won appropriate photograph in the previous. Deserved each and all of the nominations and awards that Shakespeare in Love and existence is captivating have been given. I additionally consider you on Se7en. It became into the appropriate action picture of 1995. Braveheart is a super action picture, are not getting me incorrect yet seeing as Silence Of The Lambs won an Oscar. Se7en deserved some nominations, and if i became into in charge of the Oscars, i'd've given it appropriate photograph or appropriate director. different ones i've got self assurance like they deserved nominations or wins: - Requiem For A Dream. - Malcolm X - a appropriate international (1993) - Shawshank Redemption -The Matrix - Gran Torino - Run Lola Run - Edward Scissorhands - The Shining (it won a Razzie... now that's a masterpiece)

The three stars of The Mask of Zorro (Catherine, Antonio and their son) and the movie itself. It's is one of the most wholesome movies that I have seen and a VERY long time. The acting was truly spot on. Catherine is an exceptional, talented, beautiful actress who deserves so much more credit than she gets!! The quips in that movie were delivered spot on, the little guy was right on target EVERY TIME!!

Ray Liotta in Copland. He was robbed by the Academy. Matt Damon was up for an Oscar and Liotta didn't even get nominated. Are you kidding me?

Johnny Depp for the first Pirates movie!! He was incredible, well, he's pretty darn good in all his movies. The man has displayed a unique range of skills, but has never gotten due credit for it. Do you really think anyone else could have pulled off Capt. Jack Sparrow?? I don't think so.
I also thought Catherine Zeta Jones was amazing in The Mask of Zorro. It was her first big intro to America and she dazzled. It was a great role, and she did it justice.
