Well...maybe.
First there is the problem of being able to detect our planet. With the best telescopes and computers available, the best we can detect are Jupiter-sized planets in other solar systems, anything smaller we find is just luck.
Assuming other lifeforms can detect an Earth-sized planet, we would stand out to them for the same reasons another planet would stand out to us:
1. Our star is fairly stable. Many stars vary the amount of light they emit making life highly improbable because of the range of temperatures they create on any planets orbiting them.
2. Earth's position relative to the sun is such that it is possible for liquid water to exist.
3. There actually is a lot of liquid water here. Whether or not this is actually required for life is unknown, but it is a huge bonus in terms of making it possible. (Water is an amazing molecule.)
4. Radio wave emissions. Anyone who looks at our planet is bound to see the artificial EM waves we create with all our wireless technology. Some of these waves are powerful enough to escape into space.
5. If another life form sends something like the Mars Global Surveyor to Earth, they are bound to find us. First, because of the weird city lights that are visible from space. Second, because there are so many satellites in orbit they'd have a hard time finding a safe orbit. And third, because China would probably shoot down their satellite.

Electromagnetic radiation emitted by artificial transmitters is the biggest signature of intelligent life, that our planet has so far. Other than that, the lights of the cities at night is also a signature but only at close range. During daytime, an observer would have to come really close to the surface of the planet to see signs of life. Or if they send robots to look for life on Earth, they would find it, but again they would have to come really close. So electromagnetic radiation is the best bet yet.

whatever anyone says this planet is unique. if our distance from the sun was any different life might not have started.
if we didn't have the moon our world would be in chaos.
there are also a lot of unique and rare minerals on earth, as well as our diverse and integral ecosystem. our plant and animal life is something of a miracle as well

I saw a cartoon where an alien that wanted to enslave humanity met Garfield, when he saw how much food Garfield needed and how little he did he thought we would take too much maintenence with little chance of getting much work out of us. I believe this to be the truth. we're so lazy!

Oxygen and nitrogen in just the right mixture, warm enough for water to be a liquid, cold enough for metals to be solid, plenty of water to go around, millions of species begging to be examined...
i should say so.

I think it would.
the problem I have with this is that I would be deeply suspicious of any any E.T. that arrived 'just to say hello' or 'just to pick some flowers' or '...after spending hundreds of years traveling through space at enormous cost to our own people we have come to pass you our technology. No charge! Honest!!'

Yes. They could detect our radio waves and also it they have powerful telescopes they could detect the molecular oxygen in our atmosphere which is a signature of life.
