I know a lot of people making money off e-bay. You can buy in bulk and sell individually. No degree is needed. You'd just basically need a computer and internet to get started.

of course the ideal answer would be to have someone help you while you get a GED, without that, even home based income plans will be few.
If its a newborn you have, your ability to spend any time doing the work will be compromised by the attention you must give the baby. I would recommend waiting just a little while until the baby is a little older and then take night classes to get your GED and the take a secretarial course online or at a VOTECH or community college. Then try and get on with the IRS. They have GREAT benefits and onsite child care free to employees.
I wish you luck and patience, I hope you remember how difficult the next few years are, so that when your child gets older, you can ensure they pursue education before starting a family.

Be very carefull when threading these waters. There are a lot of scams that claim you can work from home. A couple of sure ones are 1) opening up a day care. 2) writting bills for doctors. I don't know the proper title but you can do this type of job from home. I don't know if it pays well. I think you get paid by the words you type or something.
Let me tell you this. Working from home while a kid is around is not aneasy task. The kid will want your attention constantly so it will be hard to concentrate on your job.

I am a vetran of the home child care venture- if this is the path you decide to take, BE SELECTIVE in regards to who you decide to care for in your home. I had a few parents who didn't want to pay on a regular basis (every other week it was an excuse). I would ask for a deposit. I ended up just forgetting the amount they owed, it was too much hassle and I ended up quitting.
Look at Ebay, it really isn't DEPENDABLE income, but it can be profitable.

If you or anybody you know frequently travels, I work with a company [it's all work from home, on your own time]. You get commission and many other perks for people booking travel through a site you refer them to.
Go to the site I gave you, and click on 'Company Presentation' to learn more about it.
If you have further questions, feel free to click the email link on that same page and contact me.

day care? You could offer day care for another infant close to your childs age so yours has a playmate and you make some cash.
