Absolutely. Since they'd use that as an excuse to tighten controls even more.
Most of the acts governments have been doing that are illegal are done in the name of "The war on terror".

It would be a huge stretch of the imagination to even think that the recent food contaminations were acts of terrorism. If it were, I would say the terrorists are extremely ineffective. They like to have a big bang, lots of deaths, and lots of bragging about how they did it. The government wouldn't have to tell us, the terrorists would be bragging on Al Jazeera.
Also, poisoning is not bloody enough for terrorists. They like bombs with body parts strewn all over the place or beheadings. Dying, sick in a hospital isn't gory enough for them.

The federal government would, if it knew. Local entities might not realize what is happening, or have their own reasons for keeping quiet.
All in all, though, blaming it on terrorists would let everybody else off the hook.
There has been only one biological "weapons" attack on US soil, and it didn't amount to much. Followers of the Rajneeshee cult in Wasco County, Oregon grew salmonella and contaminated local salad bars with the idea of making so many people sick, that they could not vote on a local Initiative against them. The plan backfired; local people immediately suspected the cult, and rallied to vote all the more! Nobody died. Officially, biological attack was not suspected, though. Former Rajneeshees confessed later.

Probably not, because of the panic factor. But there's no reason to believe they are acts of terrorism. These contaminations are very normal to food and nothing out of the way.

The government is NOT going to tell you anything that would create PANIC in this country. Imagine the chaos that would create. There would be riots and total disregard for other people. They would fight over food that was not contaminated.

in the united states we learn more beneficial reality than maximum with freedom of the click and the numerous approaches that assistance disseminates to the regular public. lots of the time i imagine that different truths reported are thoroughly stupid/basically noise inclusive of the "gossip" stuff. In immediately's age of 24 hour digital information, what were once immediately information products and editorial have merged often right into a mish mash. it is the reason from time to time it is amazingly confusing to make certain what's reality vs opinion vs fiction.. also slightly of documents will be fake because all aspects of the tale are not any further coated.. some information products are loved because of partial reporting, the reporting of in trouble-free terms what a particular reader section needs to make certain - that occurs international huge.. Oh properly. each and each and every of the most ideal..

Absoluty. Bush and his cronies would like nothing better than to have an act of terrorism to scare people with.

Probably...just look at the coverage all that "spoiled" lettuce on the west coast got a couple of months ago. I don't see how they could keep it quiet, considering all of the leaks that have been occurring.

Absolutely - they want us to live in abject fear and surrender to their ever-increasing restrictions on Constitutional rights, not to mention pre-emptive strikes on other countries. I'd be afraid that they'd tell us that whether or not it's true!
