Who says he's pretending?????? Would his scarf have any other real reason to move????? (besides the possibility that the wind was blowing at the exact same time he was "pretending" to be in his plane...) But yeah, Snoopy is the greatest, and I'm sure he wouldn't lie to us....would he?

Because he is pretending to be in his plane. He is probably flying and then the wind makes Snoopy's scarf fly.
