So I've got a paper to write and I'm looking for other things to do aside from watch TV and mess around on the computer. Any ideas?

Interesting question. I find that I usually end up wasting way more time than I care to admit, and its usually on the computer. If you need to write a paper, try "wasting your time" on a worthy cause...Clean up your living space, return some phone calls, make some appointments. By the time your done with all that, you'll be ready to "take a break" and write your paper! : ) Hope this helped!
