I have this funny symptom that happens to me a few time when I got my period. And I don't know what's going on.. or what's it called. The very first time I had my period, instead of girl's common stomach cramp, I had a bad tummyache in school. The strange thing that happened to me was my skin started to itch, my eyes swelled and turned red and my skin turned red after as well. I was burning internally.. maybe thats why my skin was red.

I'm just curious what's going on with me.. it doesn't happen everytime.. just sometimes it does and it gets me embaress when I;m outside.

Thanks.

Wow...the only thing I can think of is your were having a hot flash, that start deep within your body (i have had those, and they are the worst). But the itching, swelling of the eyes, redness of the skin sounds more like an allergic reaction, but if you were wearing anything unusual, you never know. The only other thing I can think of is an anxiety attack. You very well could have had something like that.

Definately go to the doctor to have it checked out, because you do not want to take any chances. Good luck!

it happens sometimes. It happens to me right before I am about to start sometimes. The only other symptom I get is my ears burn too. You have to remember right before your period your blodd levels change, during too. Thats why they suggest you eat healthy during your period, with yougurts and what not. You blood sugar levels fluctuate. A lot of women get light headed, ect, all because beofre and during their blood leveIs are changing. mean think about it, blood is about to leave your body casuing a change throughout.

Are you aware of any allergies you may have? Some women have increased symptoms to allergies before they get their cycle.
