They will thin out as time goes on. Some will not live due to genetic problems, some will starve and some will be eaten. The few that remain shouldn't be hard to trade in at a decent pet shop once they are 1 1/2" long or so.

My boyfriend and I had a similar problem... We had a pair of spawning angel fish... If you leave the babies in the tank, the lager fish (inclucing the parents) will probably eat them... some may make it if there are a lot of them. What we did was bought and set up small ten gallon tank with a small filter, put some gravel from the original tank in it to help it cycle. Then we put the babies in there. Once the babies are big enough you can either put them back into your tank with the bigger fish, or you can call your local pet stores. Depending on what kind of fish they are, they may take them for you. Sometimes they will even pay you if they take them. Just remember if you are going to put any of them back in with your other fish, youdon't want to over crowd your tank.

if you don't want them at all, keep them in there. The parents will eat them. If you want to keep some, but not all, you can either set up a small tank and put a few babies in there, or you could put hiding places in the tank like plants. If you want all of them, go to the pet store and get a tank divider and put the babies on one side and the parents on the other. Fish give birth to a lot of babies in the wild because most of them get eaten and only a few survive.

Call around to some pet stores and see if they want them. Usually they'll take the little babies to sell to other homes. They may even pay you.

Maybe you can ask some of your friends if they would like a fish.If that doesnt work you might be able to put some poster up around your neighborhood.
