Grandparents Day isn't celebrated by many people but it is there to remind us about our Grandparents. So often we are busy and go full-force with our lives and we forget our grandparents who love us. Give them a call or send them a card and make their day if you can't stop by and see them. They are part of your family and are so often taken for granted when they get older.

Recognize and give appreciation to the folks that "started it all"
I think a lot of these holidays are a bunch of made up crap that card companies make tons of money on (including and ESPECIALLY Valentines day)...BUT it's true we get busy and forget the "Senior members" of the family and most of the time they're alone. SO get Grandma/Pa a card or gift!
