Jeez, well since Cobain's like a god, we should all do a little something special to show that we care. For example, I will be taking off from work to stay home and bake a Kurt picture cake with multiple layers and pink frosting roses, as per annual tradition in my household. I hope you find happiness and skull melting rock & roll on this special day.

Continue trying to forget that he grabbed us by the throat and gave us music that didn't pretend to be anything but hardcore rock without any corporate plastic. Try to ignore him singing "I swear that I don't have a gun, no, I don't have a gun" in "Come As You Are" curse the fact that Courtney Love has control of his music and notice how no one has managed to match Kurt's raw purity. He still blows anything since Nirvana out of the town. And finally remember that every once in a while someone comes along and totally shakes the music up, those are the moments. We sure could use it now.
Oh and try to forgive him for not realizing he could just quit playing and do anything else he wanted instead of what he did.
