There seems to be so many unanswered questions. What becomes of all the main characters?

I REALLY WANT HIM TOO!!! originally there was really supposed to be 9 movies, but he tied it with in Episode 6 return of the Jedi.(Or so he said)...WHO knows maybe in 30 years he will make more.( I HOPE WE DONT HAVE TO WAIT THAT LONG!!!)

A while back ago, George Lucas talked about completing 9 movies to tell the Star Wars story, but Lucas has recently said that he won't be make three more.

He said no the last time someone asked him, however there will be a Star Wars cartoon series and a Star Wars live action tv series coming in the next few years.
The characters will continue their lives the way they did after the first trilogy - in books, videogames, comics and other forms of media.

There will be no more movies, but the cartoon series "The CLone Wars" has already had 2 seasons, and there is supposed to be a TV series based on the Star Wars universe. No word as to when it comes out yet.

He originally was supposed to, but after the release of "Revenge of the Sith," he said something along the lines of wanting to make more movies, but nothing more in the way of Star Wars. He wanted to branch out.

I think he would be better off making a few Han Solo or Lando films, unrelated to Jedi or skywalkers.
