A gigabyte (derived from the SI prefix giga-) is a unit of information or computer storage equal to one billion (short scale, meaning a thousand million) bytes. It is commonly abbreviated GB (not to be confused with Gb, which is used for gigabits).
Because of a traditional inconsistency, "gigabytes" are often intended to mean gibibytes in common speech. This usage is not recommended as it creates confusion (see below) and has been facing increasing opposition by many technical standards and legal entities in the past few years.
Gigabyte (GB) = 10power9.
Nothing to do with MINS.

GB is a measure of data storage...it's not directly related to minutes.
A one minute audio recording contains less data than a one minute video, and there are different quality and resolutions of video so 2 one-minute videos can contain vastly different quantities of data

Depends on what you mean; Are you asking how long it takes to download 2 GIG ?
If yes, this can vary a lot. But at even the best speeds, you are probably looking at a few hours.
