I guess daytime fun to me is lunch.
BEST MEXICAN FOOD IN VEGAS-Frank And Finas, on Charleston between Decatur and Jones.
Donna Marias north of Charleston on the strip has really good mexican food, the kind you don't get anyplace in east or midwest.
The seafood buffet at the Rio, $35, see how many little lobster tails you can eat, I ate 19 once.
If you have kids take them to Circus Circus during the day.

GAMBLE. There is alot to do the wax museum at the Venetian is cool, also the sharks reef at Mandalay Bay is good. Go to www.vegas.com they show alot of good info that may help you.

if you have a car, and are into outdoors stuff, red rock canyon and hoover dam are short drives from the strip. ( Less than an hour)
