Time may feel like it is speeding one hour and on a go slow the next but truthfully, it doesn't do any of that it is all the same length.

Because time is relative. This means that a minute is only 60 seconds because that is what we have decided it should be.
But if you fill that 60 seconds with a lot of activity, it seems shorter, because you have managed to do a lot in that time. Does that make sense?
Have you ever said to someone, 'this last hour has taken ages?' And they reply, it has flown by! It is because it is relative to each person, it is hard to explain.

It is to do with how old you are. I remember going back to school at the beginning of September and enduring months and months until Christmas. Now it is only a couple of weeks!

It's perception. You don't notice the time when you want it to go slow, but have time to notice it when you are in unpleasant situations.
