Why is it that the very same people who were moaning big time about david beckham being left out of the england squad, are the ones that were calling for him to be dropped in the 1st place? they always say one thing but mean something else, is this how football fans are supposed to act?

Football fans are a very fickle bunch & us english always loko for a scapegoat - when he was in the team we'd blame Becks but when he gets dropped we blame the manager.

I totally agree with you. I do not think he merits a place in the team he is not playing enough football and he will be off to the USA. No disrespect intended but there leagues are not on a par with our premiership or Spanish premiership. The MLS is probably equivalent to championship or maybe lower. To play for the international team means you are playing against the best players from each country so you need to be playing at that level for your club too and i do not believe that LA Galaxy will provide him with that. As i said no disrespect intended to the Americans on this site.
As he showed at the world cup he couldn't play 90 Min's he is not fit enough he has had his day and it is best he goes now while we can still remember the good things he did for England it is a shame but that's life.

I think it's easy to understand that the coach does not like that is why he's out although he is willing to play again.
It's the coach who decides who to call and if not we have to let him do his thing and in the same time I think the coach won't stay there for another 6 months as he's not delivering any good result.

Yeah so right you are, he's a great player but the English Press crucified him, now they cry.
Pity, England lost a great player because of idiots in the press and those that jumped on the Band wagon.!!!
