Yes I agree with you. As a lawyer myself I have seen people have to wait for years to gather for taking Divorce in India & because of the dissimilarities in laws relating to various religions it is just mocary on the legal system. In Christian marriages & divorce the couple find it most difficult to take divorce as there is one ground available to them under the Indian Divorce Act, 1869, which is Adultery, more so in this ground whereas husband can take divorce if he proves his wife’s adultery but if wife has to seek divorce the ground of her husbands adultery she has to further prove cruelty or desertion or remarriage etc. So you see even in one law relating to a particular section of people there exist dissimilarities. Same you see in Muslims where husband by calling Talaq three times before a Quasi, & two witness in three months time frame as made it compulsory by the Supreme Court of India can get divorce but a Muslim wife has to take the matter to court where she get divorce under the Dissolution of Muslim Marriage Act, 1939, where it take long period of time & on various grounds only she can get divorce. Now if you come to major population of Indian society e.g. Hindus the period required to get divorce in no way is less the 2-3 years even if one has to take divorce by mutual consent forget the other grounds where if god forbid time period may extend to 5-8 years also in many cases. This long period consumed in getting divorce make any person almost half dead & irritated for rest of life to get remarried again. If the Indian Govt. is sleeping to bring a common civil code for such matters & that to be decided in sort period of time say six months to a year who is interested in wasting time in such legal battle, that results in illegal second marriage or adulterous relationship for which every one start shouting & criticizing. People here who know nothing about India matrimonial laws start commenting about failure of live in relationship, but I understand that it is better to go in for such a relationship rather then actual legal marriage which brings more miseries if marriage for some reason fails. At least in live in relationship one can always walk out of such relationship but in marriage..... Just wait for the Decree of Divorce to come in your hand & by the time it reaches you are in your middle of you life cycle.

No,

Do your think future children should have selfless adults raising them or selfish overgrown kids playing house raising the?

Does't mattter what you think any nation will fall apart if a culture looses the concept of responsibilitie parenting. To rais echildren requires selflessness -- hence selfless people still see the need for marriage and don't view sex as an act devoid of the consequences of having children.

Selfish people ask?
Why get married?

Sounds to me like

Why get married and take chances when all I care about is me?

at the start don't be dismayed via each and every of the assaults you notice right here against Islam. As you will locate all such messages are crammed with lack of information and assumptions that are baseless. i'm an American who embraced Islam and the perfect suggestion i grants is to examine up on the fundamentals of Islam first. ascertain first & finest that it is the alternative you are able to make. it won't be accomplished for anybody's sake, yet particularly purely to thrill Allah swt. it quite is taken into consideration necessary so which you will get networking with a team of sisters on your community section who can sit down with you and talk issues. Many you will locate would be from distant places, yet many will additionally be born and raised in the united kingdom and additionally British converts, so they're going to understand your attitude perfect. to actual convert all you're able to do is say the assertion of religion, ideally on the mosque with witnesses. Then attempt and attend any classes they supply. you will locate all of it very new, even slightly complicated in the beginning up, yet thats completely commonplace. Dont attempt to be a "great-muslim" suitable away. in case you % to embody Islam, nurture your new got here upon faith via educating your self and inshallah (God keen) it quite is going to enhance. perfect of luck.

Well don't you think its better to try before you buy -
What is the difference except a certificate and a ceremony that costs a lot of money. The live in relationships that fail have saved a costly divorce. Those relationships that suceed usually have a better chance of survival.

I hope not. Marriage and families are sacred to man and God. There will be no values left in our society if the marriage and family breaks down. A lot of evil is triggered off because children dont get security in their young age.

Most probably but not for all. All unwed sexual activities (pre/post/extra marital), homosexual acts, & other perverted sexual acts are specifically forbidden in Islam. In Islam, unwed voluntary sexual intercourse also is a great sin and heinous crime against government/society punishable with publicly lashing/ death by pelting stones. In India there is minimum age restriction for marriage (not for unwed sexual activities), 18+ for girls and 21+ for boys. If married, the under aged their parents/elders and others who got performed such marriage will be punished under Child Marriage Restraint Act.
Premarital, extramarital or unwed sexual activities (intercourse / coitus) are not barred / prohibited and are no offence in any Indian law. Wife’s sexual intercourse with other/s is also no offence, hence no prosecution or punishment to her. Even her sex partner also cannot be punished, if was unaware of her wedlock or had sex with consent or connivance of her husband. However the police cannot arrest or prosecute him. Thus a female’s physical sexual relations with persons/s of her choice (with their consent) is not an offence or prohibited / barred in any Indian law and she is at liberty to enjoy SEX freely and fearlessly. A male’s physical sexual relations with any 16+ female (with her consent) is no offence or barred / prohibited in any Indian Law, unless she is in the wedlock of somebody else and is done knowing her wedlock and without her husband’s consent or connivance. Prostitution (commercial sex trade, offering sex for monetary gain) alone is an offence punishable in Indian laws.
