As per the current trend and form, South Africa are the hot favourites to win the world cup.

However, since cricket is a game of uncertainties, nothing can be predicted for sure about the outcome of a tournament in advance. The final outcome will depend upon the performance in the world cup. Whichever team performs to their potential consistently in the world cup stand to win the cup.

As it stands now all the top 8 teams have a chance to win the world cup.

Australia are the Bookies favourite at 2/1, with S. Africa second at 4/1. However I think South Africa are the form side at the moment, and wouldn't be at all suprised if they won it.

On world cup stats is Australia... but judging by recent form, South Africa seem to be the team to watch...

The Windies and Sri Lanka seem not too far away....
At least we all know that England will never win...

south Africa. they are number 1 ranked and in the best form right now. India, pakistan, west indies, New zealand, Slri lanka, and England are rank outsiders. the only other team that are realistically likely to win are Australia.

Australia.

I would love to say England but quite frankly after the Ashes I ain't getting my hopes up. Still we should at least get somewhere, we should be able to beat the likes of Holland and Scotland.

That'll be Australia. Despite now being second place in the rankings they are still favourites.
