Plantronics Audio 500 headset - can't seem to get it configured on Windows XP

Try downloading the newest drivers and any configuration utility from the Plantronics website

First of all you need to install the drive (the disk) that came with your headset BEFORE connecting your headset.
When I installed my phone I had to reboot twice before it would recognise it.

open skype, tools, options,sound devices and at audio in select your device, same for audio out, it should be something like usb device or headset, if you select usb....... for both it should be fine
